Benghazi and the Coverup over Missing Libyan Surface-to-Air Missiles

What has been lacking in the Benghazi saga is a theory that ties everything together in a way that leaves few stones unturned. Unfortunately, the only one that ties everything together has serious implications for President Obama and his administration. [With several updates that alter conclusions, read to the very end.]Diane Richardson
It was created before the Presidential Election as a letter and submitted to several news sites, members of Congress and others, in various iterations over a period of about three months, with no responses. It is presented here, in the interest of justice, because nothing has happened to prove it wrong.
This theory, backed by more than a dozen credible references, describes how President Obama's failure of leadership during the civil war in Libya let thousands of portable shoulder-fired heat-seeking missiles get into the hands of various militias. This could lead to many getting into the hands of al Qaeda groups, Hamas, and Hezbollah, the final result could be a rain of terror on Israel, and Israeli and US passenger airliners, especially in Europe, that could last for decades. (1)
Theory of events and actions:
A) It is widely known that the CIA keeps track of all dangerous weapons held by our adversaries around the world, and has action plans to capture or destroy them if necessary. It knew the location and approximate quantity of all Libyan WMD and other weapons, including portable shoulder-fired heat-seeking missiles. (As does the Israeli counter-terrorism unit.) However, I speculate that President Obama did not provide the necessary leadership to insure that these missiles were either captured, guarded or destroyed during the Libyan civil war. As a result they have 'disappeared.'
B) As a result of this problem, Israel is currently putting anti-missile devices on all their aircraft. (1) "Richard Clarke, former White House counterterrorism advisor and now a consultant to ABC News," said, "I think the probability of al Qaeda being able to smuggle some of the stinger-like missiles out of Libya is probably pretty high." When Sen. Barbara Boxer was made aware of this problem she said, "Matching up a terrorist with a shoulder-fired missile, that's our worst nightmare." She then "sent a letter today to Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano urging the two to establish a joint program "to protect commercial aircraft from the threat of shoulder-fired missiles."" (2) That was September 27, 2011!
C) To try to recapture the missiles, in theory, the president told the CIA to try to find them and buy them or steal them. This was the likely mission for the consulate in Benghazi - a coverup of sorts to hide the true purpose. The reason that its 16-member embassy security detail was later removed was probably to comply with international law because CIA outposts are not supposed to have consulate-like protections, according to Ambassador Bolton, on Fox, when speculating why they were removed. (The talking points memo to Ambassador Rice was edited by the White House to call the consulate a diplomatic outpost. A diplomatic outpost in an extremely dangerous place, which should by itself have called into question its purpose.)
D) Or, the security detail was removed so that the CIAs real mission would not be inadvertently uncovered and eventually made news. It would indeed cause great concern to the flying public, and be very bad for Obama's reelection if the news media reported that these missiles were suspected to be in the hands of our sworn enemies.
E) I speculate that the local al Qaeda group decided to use the anniversary of 9/11 to take out the outpost to reduce the competition for finding and securing as many of these missiles as possible.
F) How did the president know about the attack at Benghazi and when did he know it? Almost immediately, and most probably in three ways. The first would be from the CIA — from the men at the compound, some of whom were eventually killed. From the Department of State, probably from the ambassador himself. The third would be from the military, who were most probably surveilling the compound because it was technically a diplomatic outpost, and the military follows strict protocols for reporting, which would bring the event directly to the president within minutes.
G) It was reported that one of the four men who was killed had said he was there to find the missiles. (I heard it said as part of some news — I think it was a family member talking about the death of a loved one on Fox or talk radio. But the comment was made with no connection to anything — it was just provided as information.)
H) In theory, the reason that no action was taken to save the men under attack is that it was the best way to bury the real purpose for this outpost from media speculation if more details were uncovered. Or the president and or Secretary Panetta feared that the terrorist group already had some of these missiles and if they were used and rescue planes were shot down and (more) Americans (war fighters) were killed, news would surface that these missiles were in the hands of al Qaeda. (After the fact, discussing the Benghazi dilemma, war fighters agree that a rescue mission should have been sent early in the attack, but Panetta said he didn't have enough information to make a decision, even with a circulating drone and live video and voice communication.)
But, it seems that they made more of a mess by the coverup than by telling the truth. Now four honorable Americans are dead and others are injured, we are hated by the entire Muslim world because of the video claim, and an American is in jail for exercising his free speech rights about Islam. I believe that this was what President Obama called 'a bump in the road'. Still not being asked, is, what happened to the other members of this outpost, civilian and military? Why are they not available to speak about what happened?
Of course, President Obama and his administration could make claims that they were just trying to hide the missile issue to prevent fear from strangling the flying public, but the truth remains that the CIA could have taken proactive action to capture or destroy these missiles if the president had been doing his job.
They could also argue that keeping the news that these missiles are out and about and 'available' to either the highest bidder or the toughest terrorist ready to kill for them, helps us. That is, if we assume that most of them don't already know of this great prize in a world full of civil-war fighting Muslims with rapid iPhone and Internet communication (who also hate Israel and America, especially since the president and his administration promoted then blamed the video). (16)
Secretary Clinton has since spoken before Congress and made various public comments. While she did not shed any light on what happened in Benghazi, she has said that weapons from Libya are now in the hands of al Qaeda groups in Somali and Mali, but no one bothers to ask what those weapons are. We also know that the military has asked Congress to fund outposts in this area to help stop the spread of al Qaeda. But we can be assured that their mission is also to find and capture or destroy any portable shoulder-fired heat-seeking missiles they may find. It may in fact be their primary mission.
President Obama has also publicly thanked Mrs. Clinton for her service, which has generated great speculation because of the importance placed on the event. I speculate that what he is really thanking her for is that she has agreed not to mention anything about the missing Libyan missiles.
Where has the media been on this very important story? Hiding? Covering up? Protecting the president? You will have to ask them, because Fox News is the only news source that has come close to the story. And we should thank the NY Post and ABCs Nightline for their stories.
No doubt the economy would take a hit if this theory goes public, but we have a right to know when we are in danger, so we can make our own risk assessments. The president should not be making these decisions for us all.
As for his lapse of judgement on destroying the missiles when he had the chance. Personally, I would impeach him, but who knows what spin the news media will create to fool the low information voters.
According to a recent news article about a book, I have learned that President Obama authorized CIA nominee John Brennan to conduct secret black-op assassinations against militia group leaders in Benghazi, resulting "in the death of the US ambassador." (3)
"Congressman: Hospitalized Benghazi Survivors Using Aliases: It appears Benghazi survivors who are still recovering at medical facilities may be listed under different aliases. Congressman Jason Chaffetz (R - UT) told Fox News' Greta Van Susteren on Tuesday, "We happened to find the father of the person who was still in the hospital and without breaking any trust here but being as open and as transparent as I can, the father told me, 'If you had called in to the hospital previously you would have never of have found that person, because they changed his name on the hospital records."" (4)
After the bad economy and the unemployment disaster, which can be easily fixed, I speculate that Benghazi will be President Obama's second greatest failure as president.
The economy is the first reason that President Obama should be impeached, because our economy is just people making, selling and buying things, so only government-control can slow it down. But, with all the rules and regulations that his large administration is creating, it seems that he is determined to replace free-market capitalism with some form of government controlled, aka socialistic, economy, regardless the number of people that he causes to lose their jobs.
UPDATE 1: Given all that I know today, I now believe that the missile disappearance was not just a failure of leadership, but an intentional outcome of his non-intervention policy in Libya, given his desire to eventually cause enough of a threat to the US that he can claim a national emergency and perhaps even declare Martial Law. And that he is arming Syrian opposition forces with some of these recaptured missiles knowing that some are Jihadist or al Qaeda so that they can join the fight against us, or Israel, at some later date with better weapons. Some of these missiles may have even been what Israel destroyed in targeted air raids, to prevent them from being shipped to Hamas and Hezbollah. And these are the reasons that Obama, Hillary Clinton and others don't want anyone involved with the details of this mission to speak. UPDATE 2: It is being reported that Hillary Clinton tried to bypass her own State Department's counter-terrorism unit during the Benghazi attack. (5) I believe this to mean that she did not want to be talked into providing a force response. If that is true, she is either A) denying terrorism, hoping it will eventually go away if we show enough understanding of 'their cause,' whatever she may believe that to be (because we must be guilty of something), which is a very unrealistic and childish response to a deadly real world situation. Or B) using the Obama approach: which is allowing, even promoting, terrorism in order to inflict as must pain and suffering on the US as is possible, so she/they can eventually increase their level of control over the US population. I will call this a modern, passive or indirect (Ayers/Alinsky) approach to Communism and total power. (See chart on Home page for more detail.) Rush Limbaugh thinks is A; I think it's B.
UPDATE 3: Given the government has gone to great lengths to prevent anyone from speaking on the Benghazi Coverup, there is a possibility that its AP probe was an attempt to identify possible whistle blowers and stop them.
UPDATE 4: Benghazi and Impeachment
It has become increasing clear that A) President Obama should be impeached because of the Benghazi murders, and B) his DOJ has become increasingly paranoid over leaks to the press, and whistle blowers.
A) The simple facts are, President Obama went to bed during a battle of mens lives that he could influence, significantly. Mr. Hicks, the deputy chief of mission, testified before Congress that help from a trained contingent (of the military or CIA?) was about to board a plane with him to provide help to Americans fighting Muslims in Benghazi, but was suddenly denied the right to go. They were told to "Stand down." As a result, four Americans were murdered, including a US Ambassador, and more than two dozen others were injured. Then, while in recovery their hospital record names were changed to prevent contact from the outside, and they have since been forbidden to speak about what happened.
Summary of negligence: President Obama mad no attempt to help Americans under fire. None: He abandoned his post in time of battle with Muslims. He didn't provide help for Americans fighting for their lives against Muslims. He even denied these Americans help while fighting against Muslims. As a result of his actions, four Americans died and over two dozen were injured, some requiring hospitalization. President Obama is now trying to deny us the truth. President Nixon was impeached and left office for far less. (9)
B) The Obama DOJ is investigating the Associated press for what they say is concerns for national security. What we have learn instead, is that AP is being investigated over a squabble between the White House and AP, over who should be first to release news of a past foiled second shoe-bomber incident cleared by the CIA, to prevent similar news leaks and squabbles going forward. (6)
The Obama DOJ has also investigated a Fox News Reporter regarding a 2009 leak. (7)
Reporters at this level are conscientious and ethical. To investigate them for committing crimes shows paranoia, or an attempt to frighten them away from doing investigative journalism. These are 'police state' tactics. It appears that the Obama federal government is really attempting to stop reporters from doing their jobs, and stop whistle blowing, because these government investigations do stop leakers and whistle blowers. (8) The Obama government seems to have something to hide. UPDATE 5: It seems there is enough evidence to charge Hillary Clinton and President Obama with some type of intentional negligence leading to the deaths of these Americans, aka murder. (10)
According to this article, two more whistle blowers are preparing to come forward. And they will say:
"Stevens’ mission in Benghazi ... was to buy back Stinger missiles from al-Qaeda groups issued to them by the State Department, not by the CIA. Such a mission would usually be a CIA effort, but the intelligence agency had opposed the idea because of the high risk involved in arming “insurgents” with powerful weapons that endanger civilian aircraft."

"Regarding General Ham, military contacts of the diplomats tell them that AFRICOM had Special Ops “assets in place that could have come to the aid of the Benghazi consulate immediately (not in six hours).”
Ham was told by the White House not to send the aid to the trapped men, but Ham decided to disobey and did so anyway, whereupon the White House “called his deputy and had the deputy threaten to relieve Ham of his command.”
The White House motivation in all this is as yet unclear, but it is known that Ham retired quietly in April 2013 as head of AFRICOM.
PJ Media recognizes this is largely hearsay, but the two diplomats sounded quite credible. One of them was in a position of responsibility in a dangerous area of Iraq in 2004." (10)
The obvious conclusion for not defending them as they could have, based on the chain of events provided in the article, was as I had suspected, an intentional coverup. I will also repeat my conclusion that these two whistle blowers are the real reason for the DOJ AP and Fox investigations. And suggest that these whistle blowers are in grave danger. As is General Ham and his former immediate chain of command.The part I got wrong was that I assumed the CIA to be dealing the missiles and other weapons, or that Ambassador Steven to also be working for the CIA, when he was actually still working under the direction of Hillary Clinton, making her and President Obama, and perhaps Panetta, guilty of his death and the others.
Now that we know that Hillary Clinton was directly involved with dealing weapons to militia and or al Qaeda through Ambassador Stevens that the CIA believed was too dangerous to do, we can no longer assume that the removal of the ambassador's 16-member security detail was to meet some international law compound classification requirement, a bureaucratic blunder or oversight, simply because his security and the members of his staff/team should have been her highest priority. Which fits perfectly with the claim (from the writers of the book (3)) that the CIA caused the ambassador's death by assassinating militia group leaders. And equally consistent with the content of the Clinton murder video's on the home page.
UPDATE 6: "Obama Administration Thugs Threaten State Department Whistleblower… And Her Kids."
State Department whistleblower Aurelia Fedenisn, who accused the Obama State Department of covering up eight investigations including accusations of child prostitution, says she is being threatened and so are her kids." (11)
UPDATE 7: "Huma Abedin, the former Deputy Chief of Staff to then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton" -- and wife of former Congressman Anthony Weiner, a candidate for mayor of NewYork City -- has strong ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Which makes Hillary Clinton's reasons for giving missiles to al-Qaeda through Ambassador Stevens even more plausible, supporting the statements made in UPDATE 5: "The date of a letter sent by U.S. Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA), to Secretary of State John Kerry about Huma Abedin, the former Deputy Chief of Staff to then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, matches the date on a lettersent by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) and four other congressmen to the State Department’s Deputy Inspector General from one year earlier, about Abedin’s irrefutable familial ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Bachmann’s letter was dated June 13, 2012 and Grassley’s letter is dated June 13, 2013."(12)
Important Indirect General Information: A) "Perhaps Grassley (like us) has a big problem with the prospect of a woman tied to a group that birthed the group that hit us on 9/11/01 becoming first lady of the city that was hit the hardest.
If you thought the Grond Zero [sic] mosque was insensitive, that would be Off. The. Charts." (12)
B) Mrs. Clinton is the presumptive nominee to be the Democrat Party's next presidential candidate! UPDATE 8: It is well known that members of Congress are now asking President Obama to back the Syrian rebels. It is our belief that he has been doing this for sometime, as said in UPDATE 1. It is our belief that he will also suggest that we allow a large number of Syrian Muslims to immigrate to the US from that 'battle zone,' which we will appose because of their rigid Islamic beliefs and lack of 'civilization.' (We support Governor Palin's comments on this issue.)
