Screen captures from the new Avengers Assemble trailer (it used to be titled The Avengers, but it seems studio bosses are now concerned audiences will confuse the movie with the British spy-fi TV series of the 1960s and its flop 1998 spin-off movie... seriously!). These pics reveal a flying-alien-robot-thingy in hot pursuit of Iron Man...

And here are some Avengers (sorry, Avengers Assemble) pics revealing further detail on the aliens themselves (the race of which has yet to be announced)...

Also from the Avengers, a crashed alien craft with injured/dead pilot (in mo-cap suit). These pics were snapped last year while the movie was still in production...

Finally, here are the new international posters for the US Navy's (sorry, Universal's) Battleship (the last one shows one of the movie's aliens in full battle armour. The aliens themselves are biological beings - perhaps reptilian, judging from clues in the trailer)...
